My views on issues other than voters in Tennessee
having a NOTA choice on ballots

I'm asked about my views on issues other than voters in Tennessee having a NOTA choice on every ballot. It's a good question. As a candidate I'm asked where I stand on 2nd Amendment rights, education funding, illegal immigration, etc. Here's the answer...

The NOTA option should be politically neutral for liberals, conservatives, Libertarians, Greens, Democrats, Republicans and every other shade in the political spectrum. NOTA isn't associated with any ideology or position. It's a rejection of an entire slate of candidates, and that is its only purpose. It's a demand by the voters for a new election.

As a NOTA candidate, if I receive the most votes in an election, (The chance of which is about the same as that of a meteor landing in my back yard.), I would immediately begin the process of arranging for a special, make-up election to be held within 80 days. I would simply be a caretaker office holder, tending only to the bare necessities of government. When my successor is chosen, I would resign the office and happily turn it over to them.

A vote for me is a vote for a new election. So my feelings about any other issues are irrelevant to my being a candidate.
